We produce a wide range of portfolios, display bindings and albums both sewn and screw-post. Every piece is made to order in our Lewes bindery, and can be blocked, hand-tooled or personalised to your own requirements.
Artist & Designer Portfolios
Whether you need a presentation portfolio for your degree show, a client-facing display binding, or a personal archive of your work, we make each piece to your exact specification. Choose from sewn or screw-post construction, a full range of cloth and leather covers, and any size you require.
Covers can be blocked with your name, studio mark or a custom design — giving your portfolio a professional finish that reflects the quality of the work inside.
Photographic Albums
A handbound photographic album is a lasting object — far removed from a digital file or a print-on-demand book. We make albums in a range of formats, from traditional sewn structures that lie flat when open, to screw-post albums that allow pages to be added or rearranged over time.
Covers are available in cloth, leather or decorative paper, and can be personalised with foil blocking or hand-tooling. Ideal for wedding photographers, portrait studios, or anyone who wants their images presented beautifully.
Display Bindings & Collector Albums
Calligraphers, printmakers and collectors often need a binding that is itself a work of craft. We make display bindings and collector albums with hand-tooled or decorated covers, using traditional techniques developed over more than thirty years in our Lewes bindery.
Every detail — paper, board weight, sewing structure, cover material and decoration — is chosen in consultation with you, so the finished piece is exactly what you had in mind.
